What is your Christmas beverage of choice? For me it's always hot coco, because I find it very comporting and calming. And I always visit my favorite tea house/ tea room, to see what new festive teas they invented!

Here are a few videos on how to make a perfect cup of good cheer, some have alcohol included, so if you are under age you can make this with your parents, if they'll let you, or by yourself if you only take a few little sips. OK, here we go!

Christmas Countdown: Christmas Short Animations

Hello!

How did you spend this day? My family and I visited my Grandma and greeted the carolers there. It is a lovely tradition, that I very much loved when I was a little kid. So, this is the most beautiful part of my Christmas eve's eve. :D

I decided to share a couple more Christmas short films with you.

The first one is "The story of Pines" by Alison Sudol (lead singer of A Fine Frenzy). This one is perfect for every winter night and for all the times you are feeling lost, less brave and, well, pinning.

The Story of Pines

Another favorite of mine is "The Gift of the Night Fury", it is the follow-up for How to Train Your Dragon, an animated movie that will put a huge smile on your face.

Gift of the Night Fury

And of course, the previous two that I have posted a few days ago:

The Night before Christmas from Tom and Jerry

The Snowman (1982)

I hope you will enjoy watching all these short films. There are many more great ones out there to help you get into the Christmas spirit!

See you soon!

Christmas Countdown: Christmas Music by Celtic Woman

Hello!

I just love Christmas music in all it's variety and the ladies of Celtic Woman gave it a bit more sass and a touch of violin. They also have a Christmas album, but I will share only a few carols that they performed. I love their artistic view and I hope you like their Irish kick.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

Carol of the Bells

Christmas Countdown: Christmas Cookies

Hello!

I hope you have managed to get all the presents you needed, if not, don't worry, there is still more time. If you haven't decided on something yet, you could bake some cookies and give them as delicious goods or turn them into ornaments. Either way, everyone has to bake cookies, it's a mandatory thing!

Christmas Countdown: Gift Wrapping Ideas

Hello!

Have you finished your Christmas shopping? I still have to buy a ton of gifts for all my dear ones, but the part that I like most is the gift wrapping. I find that there are endless ways and ideas on how to perfectly wrap a gift. In my country there isn't a tradition to wrap things nicely and there aren't many supplies that you can use, because everyone just puts the gift in a gift bag and that's it. Luckily, some (very few) shops offer gift wrapping services, but there's no fun in that, is it?

No, so I always look for new ideas and the internet is filled with great examples for all tastes and prices!

Have fun wrapping!
See you tomorrow.

Christmas Countdown: The night before Christmas -- Tom and Jerry

Hello, little elf!

I am and always will be a huge Tom and Jerry fan, I used to watch this cartoon together with my dad when I was little and one of the best episodes is the Christmas one, called "The Night Before Christmas". So here it is, hope you will enjoy re-watching it, because I know you have seen it many time before!

A few other pictures from this episode:

Christmas Countdown: Christmas Tales by Alexander Rybak

Hello, little elf!

There are so many great Christmas albums out there and this one has to be on of my favorites!
If you are an Eurovision Song Contest fan you already know who Alexander Rybak is, but for those who don't, he is the winner of the 2009 ESC contest, with the best score/ number of points in the history of the contest.

What I love most about Christmas Tales is the atmosphere, he kept the carols simple, classic, with a jazz influence and a lot of soul. This record is bound to make your ears melt of joy.

So take a seat, cuddle up and have a listen to this album preview!

Christmas Countdown: The Snowman (1982) -- Short film

There's nothing quite like a Christmas short animation movie to get you in a festive and cheerful mood. One of my favorites is the 1982 Snowman, with a beautiful cinematography and amazing, soothing music.

Hope it will snow where you are so that you can make a snowman!

Hope you are having a joyful time!
